Parked my car in their private parking and enjoyed browsing the Internet with their free WiFi. Also, got some exercise walking to Lake Windermere, only 34 km away!
Just loved being near the heavy traffic on the main road. What a lovely soundtrack for my stay!

The cottage itself was amazing, with spacious rooms and stylish furnishings. the kitchen was well-equipped, making cooking a breeze. the cottage was also located in a friendly area, providing plenty of different landscapes and walking options. the cottage provided a comfortable and quiet atmosphere, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring.
The lack of a garden or outdoor space for pets. This meant having to walk the dogs on the side of the main road, which was not ideal.

Wow! What a find! This place is an absolute gem. The cottage is beautifully decorated and feels so cozy and welcoming. The open-plan living space is stunning, with plenty of room to relax and unwind. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. And the best part? There are two bathrooms! Perfect for a family of four like ours. The location is also fantastic - surrounded by beautiful countryside and with plenty of walks to enjoy. We loved being able to explore different areas easily from here.
The road outside meant we had to keep our dog on a lead. However, this did give us the opportunity for early morning walks and the traffic was not noticeable inside the cottage.
